Y5 trip to the Science Museum

Yesterday, Y5 went on a trip to the Science Museum. We walked around all 4 floors looking at different exhibits such as Space and Medicine before having our workshop in the Wonderlab. In the lab we got to experiment with different materials, objects and were able to touch, smell and play with everything! My favourite was getting spun around like a figure skater. I also loved the friction slides and all of the medicine exhibitions. It has made want to become a doctor! By Lyla

I loved  playing with magnets and making my own big marble run! I had to use tubes on a magnetic board and create a huge marble run! By Alex I

I really enjoyed the Wonderlab as it allowed me to explore lots of Science in one room. I loved making wind by pulling myself on a pulley wind turbine! I also loved the Space area as we have already learnt about this! I really want to go to space! By Dalia

My favourite part was the flight exhibit. Here was saw how aeroplanes and the idea of flying has evolved over the last 100 years. It was  fantastic and it felt like I was in a real hanger! By Jaian
