Admissions Consultation 2020/21
Following discussion with SDBE, the Board of Governors is proposing a change to the admissions arrangements from the 2020-21 academic year to prioritise up to 3 places for children entitled to free school meals on the basis of family income. The Board of Governors is required to consult with a wide range of stakeholders before any change to the current admissions policy is determined. Nursery Class Applicants
We have an Ecumenical Nursery which is between two schools: All Saints' CE School and Our Lady of Victories RC Primary School. The All Saints' Ecumenical Nursery is based at All Saints' School and the Governing Body is responsible for admission to the class. The Governing Body has agreed to allocate 18 places to children of Roman Catholic families and 34 places to children of Church of England families. Children are eligible for the Nursery class from the school year (1st September – 31st August) after their third birthday. Places will be allocated according to the criteria set out in the All Saints' Ecumenical Nursery Admissions Policy. Acceptance into the Nursery does not guarantee a place in the Reception Class. The cut off date for applications to the Nursery Class to be received at the school is Friday 8th February 2019. If you have a late application, please contact the school directly.
Church Supplementary Form
Parents applying for a Church Place for Nursery should dowload the Church Supplementary Form at the foot of this page or contact the school for the form from the Admissions Officer. This needs to be completed and returned to school by Friday 8th February 2019.
Reception Class Applicants
Children must be 4 years old by 31st August to be eligible for entry into the Reception Class in September and the places are allocated around Easter of that year.
The Council's Application Form
Parents may apply for a place by completing the Council’s Application Form available from the Education Department from the end of October 2018.
Parents and carers may also apply online for a Reception place in September 2018 at www.wandsworth.gov.uk/admissions. However, all applicants should read the oversubscription criteria in the school prospectus/website and in the Wandsworth Council booklet ‘Choose a Wandsworth Primary School’, available from the Council.
The cut off date for online applications for the Reception Class to be received by Wandsworth Council is midnight on Tuesday 15th January 2019. Applications for the Reception Class received after 15th January will be placed on a waiting list by the Council.
Parents are sent a letter offering a place and asked to respond within a set period of time.
All Saints' School Registration Form
A Registration Form must be filled in by the parents (when applying for all categories) and sent to the school, so the school has contact details for the family. This Registration Form is to be received the school office by Tuesday 15th January 2019.
Successful applicants will be asked to sign a declaration that parents will support the school's aims and policies and are asked to sign the Home School Partnership Agreement.
Church Supplementary Form
Parents applying for a Church Place for Reception should dowload the Church Supplementary Form at the foot of this page or contact the school for the form from the Admissions Officer. This needs to be completed and returned to school before Tuesday 15th January 2019.
Appeal Timetable for 2019 entry
Parents wishing to appeal should contact the Appeals Service on telephone number 020 8871 7554 or email email@example.com.
Appeal forms to be submitted to the Appeals Service by 24th May 2019.
Letters of invitation to attend the appeal hearing will be sent at least 10 school days before the hearing, between 11th June and 2nd July 2019, depending on when the appeal is to be heard.
Parents are to provide any additional evidence no later than 3 working days prior to the hearing.
Decision letters are to be sent within 5 school days of the decision wherever possible.
Hearing dates will be heard between 26th June and 16th July 2019 inclusive.
In-Year Admissions - Year One to Year Six
Parents of older children may apply at any time and will be required to complete the Council’s Application Form available from the Education Department. If applying for a Foundation Place, an additional In-Year Church Supplementary Form will also need to obtained and returned to the school. If necessary, names will be added to a ranked waiting list.
