Welcome to Y3 - Shrew!
The Y3 class teachers are Mrs Sutton and Ms Wragg and we are also lucky to be assisted by Mrs Mathew and Mrs Goodwin. Ms Wragg will start the week off Monday to Wednesday morning with Mrs Sutton taking over from Wednesday afternoon through to Friday.
Please see the documents below that highlight the skills covered in Year 3 and the Term Topic web.
Homework will be given out on a Thursday and is due in the following Wednesday.
Children will usually be given 3 pieces of homework, each should not take longer than 20 minutes to complete. Homework will usually consist of one piece of literacy, one piece of numeracy and one piece of science or topic work.
Please also make sure you are reading with your child at least 4 times per week. For reviews, book suggestions and resources; See http://www.literacytrust.org.uk and http://www.lovereading4kids.co.uk. Children may borrow books from our class or school library. A reading book and reading diary should be brought into school every day.
Please ensure that you are practising times tables and handwriting - little and often is best!
