The Y2 class teacher is Ms Ritchie, supported by Miss Alex.

Below you will find a document with the list of skills covered in Year 2 and also the topic web.

Y2 Homework:

All home learning will be posted on Google Classroom by Wednesday, 4pm, and there will be an overview description of the tasks. The children should complete these by the following Tuesday.

KS1: (Years 1-2) 

• Weekly Spellings
• Maths
• Phonics
• Writing
• Weekly spellings will be uploaded on Friday afternoons in preparation for the following week.

Pupils in Year Groups 1–6 also have access to TTRS - Times Tables Rockstars Home - Times Tables Rock Stars  to develop fluency, accuracy and confidence in their multiplication and division facts.  Please speak to your child's class teacher for more information.

P.E Days

In Orchid class, our P.E. days are Wednesday and Thursday.

On these days, pupils should come to school wearing their P.E. kit and may remain in it for the full day. Please ensure your child has the correct school P. E. kit and footwear, all clearly labelled. As the weather gets cooler, pupils will need a pair of tracksuit bottoms and a jumper/ hoodie for outdoor P.E.

Medical

• Please let the school and the year group teacher know if your child has any condition requiring medication, including allergies or asthma.
