Eid translates to ‘festival’ or ‘feast’ in Arabic and is a significant celebration in Islam. Eid is a time for communal prayers, feasting, and giving to charity, emphasizing joy and gratitude with the Muslim community. To mark the occasion, we recognised this special event for our Muslin friends and learned lots about another religion and culture. Thank you to Mr Ikhlef for helping run the assembly and teaching us more about this culture.
