This morning, Reception parents joined Mrs Grantcharova for an informative and interactive Maths Workshop exploring how mathematics is taught at All Saints’.

Mrs Grantcharova explained what maths learning looks like for Reception-aged children and how we develop strong mathematical foundations through practical experiences, exploration, mathematical talk and carefully structured activities. Parents also had the opportunity to get hands-on with a maths task themselves, experiencing the types of activities our children encounter in the classroom!

The session provided lots of practical ideas for supporting mathematical development at home, as well as an opportunity for parents to ask questions and learn more about our approach.
