Welcome to Year 3!

The Y3 class teacher is Mr Mante, assisted by Miss Nicky Chubb.

Y3 Homework:

All home learning will be posted on Google Classroom by Wednesday, 4pm, and there will be an overview description of the tasks. The children should complete these by the following Tuesday.

KS2: (Years 3-6) 

• Weekly Spellings
• Maths 
• Reading Comprehension
• Daily Reading (15 mins a day)
• Occasional tasks related to other curriculum subjects

Pupils in Year Groups 1–6 also have access to TTRS - Times Tables Rockstars Home - Times Tables Rock Stars to develop fluency, accuracy and confidence in their multiplication and division facts.  Please speak to your child's class teacher for more information.

PE days 

In Palm Tree class, our P.E. days are Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

On these days, pupils should come to school wearing their P.E. kit and may remain in it for the full day. Please ensure your child has the correct school P. E. kit and footwear, all clearly labelled. As the weather gets cooler, pupils will need a pair of tracksuit bottoms and a jumper/ hoodie for outdoor P.E.

Medical

Please let the school and the year group teacher know if your child has any condition requiring medication, including allergies or asthma.
